Between burns snip off or snap off burnt wood wick to about 2/4 inch. Only burn candles 3-4 hours at a time. Keep candle on flat, heat-resistant stable surface. Do not add water.

Leave small amounts of the black wood that is uniform this part may be slightly burned but is still used in a good burn. The black tip that needs taken off will not look uniform and will have jagged edges.

Candle may struggle to get wax off the sides till about the halfway point the wax will slowly start to melt down the sides and will eventually be melted.

Quit burning candle when you start to see the metal wick tab located at the bottom of the candle. We recommend to stop burning here so that the candle does not overheat and you've almost used all of the wooden wick. This should be about the 70 hour mark on a proper burn.

Wood wick candles vary in burn and profile consistency. Due to the nature of wooden wicks no two wooden wicks are exactly the same. This may cause variations in how they burn. Between burns remove black burnt jagged tip leaving the uniform burnt wood and relight. Occasionally wood wicks may struggle to stay lit or burn at the same rate.

• Melt for 3 to 4 hours at a time for optimal scent throw and wax melt longevity.
